Grab your compass and hiking boots – it’s time to journey into the Alaskan wilderness at Our Lady of the Pines’ Vacation Bible School (VBS) – True North: Trusting Jesus in a Wild World! From June 9-13, 2025, we’re navigating faith, fun, and friendship in the rugged wilds, and we need YOU to lead the way!
**Calling All Trailblazers (Adults & Teens!) **
Your skills are vital for this expedition! Volunteer to guide our young adventurers (Grades PS-8, 2025-2026 school year) through:
- Games: Conquer wild challenges with a smile!
- Snacks: Refuel with hearty Alaskan trail bites!
- Crew Leaders: Steer your crew toward True North!
- Bible Adventures: Discover Jesus’ guidance under the northern skies!
- Imagination Station: Build and create in the untamed wild!
- Sticky Scripture: Making God's Word stick!
Event Details:
- When: Monday - Friday, June 9-13, 2025
- Where: Our Lady of the Pines
- Cost: $35 per child (Volunteers enjoy a 10% discount! Code "NORTH")

- Grand Finale: Friday Family Basecamp Cookout – gather ‘round the fire to celebrate!
Kickoff Celebration:
Join us on June 7th after the 10:30 Mass at Parish Hall East. Pick up your VBS trail shirt, sing songs of the wild north, enjoy wilderness snacks, and meet your fellow explorers. It’s the first step on our path to True North!
Why Volunteer?
Help kids find their way in a wild world by trusting Jesus – all while enjoying a 10% discount (code "NORTH") on registration fees. This program is directed by OLP staff but cannot operate without the involvement of adult volunteers. This includes moms, dads, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and any other adults that love to serve. Together, we’ll chart the course for an epic week of discovery and faith in the Alaskan frontier!
